The Camas Lions Club

ESP Supply proudly supports a number of charitable causes in our community.

One foundation that we would like to highlight is the Lions Club International which serves communities around the world and has been for over 100 years.

The Lions Club International was founded in 1917 by a Chicago businessman named Melvin Jones and three short years after Melvin Jones founded the Lions club it became international with 23 U.S. states with a total of 6,400 members by 1920.

Over the years the Lions International club had been become more and more impactful by helping the United Nation with the commitment of “certain and lasting peace for the world.”

By 1968 the Lions Clubs has made more than $1 billion in grants globally. Today there are 1.4 million members in the Lions Club globally making a change for the better.

There are more than 48,000 Lions clubs around the world making a meaningful impact in their community and internationally as a whole team.

The owner of ESP Supply has been a member of the Camas Lions Club for over 15 years and had the opportunity to proudly receive the Melvin Jones Fellowship plaque.
